Community Life Support Foundation (CLSF) and Towdah Sounds (TS) have donated consumable and other items to the Good shepherd orphanage on the Kasoa Bawjiase road on Saturday the 19th of April, 2017.
CLSF is a non-governmental organization that was established with the aim of improving the wellbeing of mothers and children in deprived communities. Towdah Sounds which also partnered CLSF for the donation is an interdenominational worship ministry.
The groups were led by Mrs. Eunice A. O. Lamptey who is the CEO of CLSF and Pastor Michael Ohene Okantah, the music director of Towdah sounds to make the donation. The items that was donated included, bags of rice, clothing, drinks, toiletries, beverages, box of powdered milk, biscuits and various items that will improve the lives of people at the orphanage.
Receiving the items, the coordinator of the orphanage, Rev. Abraham Nimako Boateng appreciated the kind gesture by the groups and encouraged other NGO’s and individuals to come to their aid in supporting the disadvantaged children. He also requested for funds to enable them finance students who have completed Senior High School to the University.
Mrs. Eunice A. O. Lamptey speaking on behalf of the two groups pledged their future support for the orphanage to ensure they also make a difference in lives of the children. The event was climaxed with a party for the children as the two groups socialized with them and engaged in other exciting activities to put smiles on their faces.
