Kumasi: MTN engages customers on quality service delivery

Telecom giant MTN has organised a customers’ soiree to express gratitude to its numerous subscribers in the Ashanti region.

The soiree held at the Golden Bean Hotel in Kumasi was also to engage their business clients on how best to collaborate in making the network deliver more efficient services and products.

Most participants, who attended the soiree, took home prizes ranging from the latest 4G enabled Samsung and iPhone handsets and other branded MTN souvenirs.

The customer soiree was under the theme, “Welcome to New York”.

Customer Relations Executive at MTN Ghana, Jemima Kotei-Walsh told Ultimate Business that the event was necessary to celebrate their loyal customers who had stayed with them over the years.

“Our customers are at the centre of everything we do and we do recognize that it is because of them that we MTN continue to be in business.

“This soiree is a celebration of our customers for their loyalty and patronage of our products and services and so we are saying thank you and to interact with them, in order to serve them better.
We have been organizing some of these events and every time we pick a theme. We thought that “Welcome to New York” will resonate well with the people of the Ashanti region.

“We intend in the future to organize one in the Northern region as well. We have had one in the Central and Western regions business districts, had two in Accra and one in the Eastern region”, Mrs. Kotei-Walsh mentioned.

MTN which is the only 4G mobile network provider in Ghana currently has over 17 million subscribers and remains committed to investing to make their service even better.
