Universal Music Group (UMG) has signed a record label deal with Ghanaian Afro-Dancehall artiste Livingstone Etse Satekla popularly known as Stonebwoy.

The “Hero” hit maker, who is currently on “Epistles of Mama World Tour” in Europe, has already signed a record label with Universal Music Group.

His deal was popularly known during the launch of Universal Music Group’s new Pan-African division office in Nigeria on Tuesday, July 17, 2018.

Stonebwoy who is with Zylofon label, wasn’t the only Ghanaian artiste who have signed a record label with UMG

Ghanaian Afro-soul songstress, Cina Soul, was also announced as a signee with Universal Music Group.

Other artistes signed to the label include Nigerian artistes WurlD, Odunsi (the Engine), Tay Iwar, and Mr Eazy

UMG’s new division in Lagos will support artistes from Nigeria, Ghana, and the Gambia throughout the continent and beyond.

This new strategic division will operate from a new office in Lagos, under the leadership of Nigerian music executive Ezegozie Eze Jr., who has been named General Manager of Universal Music Nigeria.
